People who are following me on twitter have suspended accounts?
I get an e-mail from Twitter saying that a person is now following me. When I click on that person’s user name to see his/her account, it’s suspended! And I can’t find them among people who follow me! That happened several times.
They were probably a porn star/advertising person. unfortunately, lots of people use twitter for those kinds of things and it’s "inappropriate" so twitter needs to suspend their accounts. most of the people who follow you will be porn/advertising. it’s the sad reality

Can anyone answer my question about finding people on Twitter?
Okay, if you put your email password in the tab that says "Find on other networks", does it just search for people with a twitter in your contacts? Or does it do that AND send mass invites to every email address that you have saved in your account?
I want to find my friends, not send them email invites.

Many of us posted info to Get Satisfaction Web site.I met people from all over the world with the same issues.Can’t follow people,nor can you be followed.You get emails saying someone is following you,but when you go to your Twitter page ,they are not there.You try to add someone and it doesn’t work.And no one can see your Tweets.AND you can’t contact Twitter to report the problem.HELP!
Twitter was hacked few days a go. In my view they must be tiring to fix all the loop holes.

advertise… without ads iwouldnt buy anything…. tell ur frends to tell their frends.. send one of those emails that say "send this to 10 ppl on ur w/e and blablabla" u kno wat imean, like who would drink pepsi if it wasnt advertised so much? iwouldnt..

How come I don’t get Twitter updates from all the people I am following?
I am trying to follow Shaq on twitter. He is on my people I’m following list but I don’t get his updates even though I go to his profile and he has alot of updates.
u dont see his reply messages just his updates. to see all of his replys ud have to follow all of the people he replies to. a reply starts with an @

Is it possible to change the order of the people you are following on Twitter?
Like when you are following people and they show up on your profile page, is there a way to switch up the order? Sometimes the order does get switched up, but by itself. Does Twitter do that automatically? Anyone know what I am talking about?
there’s no way to change the order.
And i only remember that the following and followers list is arranged in the order as most recent on the front and older ones on the back.
Can people find my Twitter account if they know my email address? Can I prevent this?
I have a Twitter account using an old email address that I don’t really want people I knew from ages ago stumbling across. Is there way a to change my settings so that I’m not searchable by email address?
only people who have your email address in their address book in their email account can search for you.
There wouldn’t be a way to stop that from happening. Sorry.
