What is TWITTER for….?
I know a lot of people are getting pretty much into it now and I have made an account in the past.. just that I only used it once. I was just wondering what is it’s main purpose and ask for your personal review if you find it significant.

Twitter’s purpose is to keep friends and family updated on your life.

It’s just a status update. A lot of celebrities use it to talk to their fans–Twitter got really popular when Ashton Kutcher bet CNN he could get more people to follow his updates than CNN’s. Of course he won, but everyone kind of missed his point that real news should be more important than celeb gossip…
Apparently some surgeons also use it now during surgery. Strange.

I think twitter is the most stupid social network. However, it has become extremely popular. All it is, people writing a type of update of what they’re doing at the time in which they are logged in. Like wise, twitter members get to read others’ posts. In addition, people get to follow other people in twitter, its like being someone’s friend- and you can also have followers which is when people become your friends. Completely stupid. I prefer Facebook. MySpace has become completely boring and inconsequential.
